I was unsure if this handset would work with my DECT2060-2 system but the description said it would. It does. Much better handset than the old DCX200 and was cheaper! Has more robust features and fits good in your hand when talking. Very nice display and nice options. When you register the handset to the base on a DECT2000 system it won't fit in the base because it is not the same size (of course). No worries. You just have to unplug your base, plug it back in while holding the "find HS" button and then go to the menu options on your new handset and hit "Register HS" to make it work. It takes about 30 seconds for the handset to register so don't panic if it doesn't register right away.

So far, nice. I'm getting about 100 ft range (in the suburbs), voice is clear, display readable. I like that it answers when I pick up the phone from the cradle rather than having to find the button. The extra row of buttons on the bottom has caught me once or twice (tapping the mute instead of zero), but I got used to it.

I've owned the Uniden DECT 3000 series phone system for some time now and and quite happy with it. The sound quality is excellent, battery life is very good and the range without distortion or interference is excellent. I have no complaints about the system at all. I just recently needed to add another extension, which is why I purchased this particular product. Once it was initially charged, I just dropped it into the base station and it was automatically registered and added to the station's list of phones. By going to my "main" phone I was then able to copy all of my speed dial settings to the new extension within just a matter of moments. The handset is small and light, and the keys are just the right size. The display is easy to read and is very customizable. I would recommend the system to anyone interested in a cordless phone solution.

I did a lot of searching for a new set of phones, and I am very glad I picked this Uniden phone. One of the reasons I picked it was because of the 70 name phone book, most phones have only 50 or less. I can't figure out why you can't have more, but oh well. About the only thing I don't like is the way it displays the caller id. The phone number is all together, no hyphen between digits, making it hard to read quickly. Phone works great, easy to handle, and the speaker phone works well too. Easy set up also.
