This light is not clumsy at all. It is very very easy to clip on in many positions and easy to use when reading in bed. It lights up the whole page on a kindle 2 pretty well--it is a little darker but adequate on the bottom of the page. It comes with an extra set of batteries. It is worth 25 dollars. I would buy it again. I just got it a week ago, so can't comment on durability.

This is the first book light I've bought, so I don't have much to compare to. I wish the batteries would last longer. I use mine on a Nook, it lights the top 2/3rds very well but the bottom of the page is not as well lit, especially when the batteries start to run down. These are minor issues to me, overall it's very good, does as advertised. You can even clip it to the front of your shirt so the light shines down onto the book.
Best Light for Kindle 2...So Far March 14, 2010

I have a Kindle 2 (6" screen). First I bought the Mighty Bright. It's a good light but not at all designed for the Kindle as some of the ads will make you think. The Kandle fits very nicely and pretty securely. It does not bounce around whenever you move and has no "hot spots". I agree with other reviewers that it does not illuminate the lower section of the screen quite as much as I would like but it is still the best I've tried so far. If you are trying to decide on a light for your Kindle, I would recommend this one. Mine also came with extra batteries.
