it works January 27, 2010 airportsyndrome returned my wireless N adapter and bought 4 of these. the picture only shows 2 ports. 2 extra ports are on the other side for a total of 4 ports.
for the users who gave 1 or 2 stars...C'MON MAN!!!
Simple, easy, perfect January 24, 2010 raincntry I live in an older apartment building with old wiring and a fuse box with actual screw out fuses. I was concerned this product may not work in my home. I was wrong. All I had to do was plug it in the socket with modem running in one and plug the other unit in next to my TV/Stereo and it worked as advertised. I have a 3MB connection and I'm not getting any signal degradation
The box contains 2 units and two network cables so it has all you need. Each unit has four network plugs, two on each side. If you have an internet connection that you want or need to move and you don't feel like getting a hub and running cables, this is a great product.
Simply Works! Highly Recommended! January 9, 2010 CFH (Blue Ridge Summit, PA USA) We bought the "Powerline 4-Port Ethernet Adapter" to connect our Blu-ray Player, Roku HD-XR Player, and Xbox into our existing Powerline household network. After the pleasant experience setting up the original Powerline connection (it was literally Plug-and-Play), I was not disappointed when setting this one up. After plugging the unit into the wall, it almost immediately showed connected and the rest was just connecting Ethernet cables to the various devices.
The performance has been great for the movie streaming and Xbox Live, with no slowness or drops. It also saved me a lot of time and expense in trying to run wires in my very old and large house.
Highly Recommended!

Works well in my house January 5, 2010 Mike (San Diego, CA USA) I couldn't get a reliable wireless connection from one end of the house to the other, so I decided to try this product. It definitely works better than the wireless did. I have no problems with dropouts and the speed is definitely improved. I agree with another reviewer that said 85 megs is a fallacy. I only get about 15 megs, but that's still good enough for streaming Netflix movies to the PS3 while surfing the Internet on a computer.
Great Device September 23, 2009 H. Heikkinen (Colorado) Installation & use are very simple; just plug 'em in and you're done--works without a hitch. You must buy at least TWO units to establish the intended powerline web network--some vendors are silent or unclear about this detail. Recommended w/o reservation.
